Happy Birthday Cecelia!

I've had a draft for this post for almost a month now. A day when your first baby girl turns four seems so momentous that I should have some poignant words to commemorate the occasion. My words seem to be coming up short in the momentous category, so I'll keep this brief.

I simply find it hard to believe that four years ago, we welcomed this beautiful baby girl into our lives.



She's grown into a very lovely, very silly, very opinionated, and very loving little girl.




She knows what she wants and can articulate it very well. Usually it tends to be requests for mom or, lately, candy.

She loves her mom and dad most of all, and the feeling is mutual. We can't imagine life without her sweet little self.

    I didn't know the Catherine who just posted a comment on my blog was you! So glad I found this--if you told me you wrote a blog, it must have been while I was mediating a battle between my kiddos because it flew right out of my mind. Can't wait to look around...
